Sofia Suxo-Sanchez

Sofia is a master’s student in the Marriage, Family, and Human Development program at BYU. Her current research explores how finances influence couple relationships and how financial socialization shapes financial outcomes. Looking ahead, she plans to focus more specifically on poverty-related research, particularly how poverty impacts family finances, well-being, and relationships. After completing her master’s degree, Sofia will pursue a PhD. In her free time, she enjoys spending time with family, reading, and cooking—especially empanadas and churros.
